This is a great cook book for beginner cooks, college kids living on their own, or newlywed couples. It not only offers simple (and tasty) recipes it also has helpful utensil descriptions and kitchen tips. I've had this book for over 12 years now and still use the recipes. It covers everything from snacks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, grilling, desserts, you name it! It's very well organized and perfect for anyone on a budget. Every recipe is easy to fix and quick. It's a "must have" for any kitchen!
Some of my best foods have come from this easy to understand, well laid out little cookbook. Family favorites include the foiled potatoes and baked beans. Both of which are grill recipes for us. The microwave one-step lasagna was a surprise and so quick. No cooking of the noodles! My only regret is there isn't a follow up to this book.
