Review

"To most children-indeed to most adults-the word Holocaust is about something that happened a long time ago in a place far away. The stuff of folk tales and horror stories. Tell Them We Remember helps to put faces to that word. If we don't remember well enough, we repeat history. This book helps us to truly remember." --Jane Yolen, author of The Devil's Arithmetic "Tell Them We Remember should be read by every schoolchild in America and studied in every public school. If we are not to relive history's recurring holocaust, we must learn its lessons." --Harry Mazer, author of The Last Mission"This ambitious work, produced in association with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, is the book equivalent of a museum tour....there is much to compel thought" --Publishers Weekly

This was a GREAT book on the Holocaust. I enjoy studying history and I also have spent time in Poland. This book was very helpful for me to understand all the issues of the Holocaust. There were many facts about the Holocaust I did not know and this book help me understand wht did happen during the 12 year period. If you enjoy history, and want to understand the Holocaust, then this book is a MUST for your book shelf.

As Advertised.

There are a few books out there that can be used to teach children about the Shoah and this is one of them. It teaches children about a subject that is often hard to teach with reaching a right balance of information and gentleness (for young children)

Excellent resource for teaching about the Holocaust! This gives a thorough, accurate account of this tragic event and the reader hears from those who experienced it firsthand.

A great book full of knowledge and history. I bought this for my Grandchildren.

This is a great book with concise articles about important topics within the study of the Holocaust. We supplemented it with lots of other materials including the US Holocaust Memorial Museum and Yad Vashem websites.

Purchased this for my nephew's fourth grade class, as enrichment for his history lessons. I feel it summarizes WWII with sufficient background and information. Details of the holocaust are thorough without being too graphic for older children.

Tell Them We Remember: The Story of the Holocaust is a well--written resource to learn the facts of the Holocaust. It has many pictures that help to show kids in this day and age how things were then.
